Notes on the Wine
Briny peach and melon aromas feed into a palate dictated by grabby grape-skin extraction. Slightly bitter pear and green apple flavors finish with a mild grassy taste.

In the Rapel Valley , at the foothills of the Andes Mountains, long time friends Felipe Ibanez and Jorge Gutierrez founded Vina Anakena.
In order for this project to live up to their dreams and expectations, they researched the terroirs of chile and also explored other great wine regions of the world so that Anakena would fulfill it’s great promise.
The first vineyards were planted in Alto Cachapoal in 1999. Today Vina Anakena has 155 planted hectares in the Cachapoal Valley, 128 planted hectares in Leyda San Antonio Valley, 70 planted hectares in Cerro Ninquen – Colchagua Valley, and 60 hectares in Las Cabras, Rappel Valley.
