Notes on the Wine
This wine has a beautiful balance of raspberry fruit profile with warm spice, black tea and a delicate cocoa. The fruit on the palate is juicy but if you lean in there is a quiet brooding character to this wine that still has a lot yet to give. The Acid holds the fruit in check and the tannins keep the gentle momentum into a long finish.
Notes on the Producer
We named our Farm and winery after our desire to provide a gracious and welcoming table for ourselves and friends, with a cornucopia of hand-crafted food and wine. Ambitious as it is, we have launched a winery and are establishing a working farm, where we raise pasture poultry, pigs, cows, and egg-laying chickens. We also keep a large garden. We are working towards a managed intensive grazing system of farming that builds our soil, sequesters carbon, and moves us towards a healthy, sustainable and diverse farm.
