Notes on the Producer
One of the most historic estates in the Clisson region of the lower Loire Valley. Vines have been grown here for centuries, some documents suggesting as early as1337. The first archival mention of Muscadet and its grape, Melon de Bourgogne, comes in 1635. Throughout its storied 700-year history, it has only changed hands four times. Today, the 90-hectares property is a designated Bird Sanctuary and Parc Natural.
