Notes on the Wine
The nose is fresh and crisp with green apple, green pear, citrus (lemon), and sea shell/iodine minerality. Bright, cool citrus (lemon) and green apple and pear are echoed in the flavors. The wine structure is lean yet has a crisp, racy minerality with a persistent finish.
Notes on the Producer
Winemakers from father to son: near the town of Auxerre, Chablis is halfway between Dijon and Paris.
The Vocoret family has been cultivating the vines for four generations. A vineyard located on the clay-limestone hillsides, which now has some fifty hectares where are carefully picked the most famous Chablis' wines.
In the cellar, the wine making has remained traditional and the bottling is made solely on the property.
