Notes on the Wine
The color is a medium pale golden yellow with aromas of pear, fig, and tropical fruit showcasing the wine’s fruit intensity. Stone fruit flavors are complemented by pretty notes of balanced oak. Undertones of butterscotch and vanilla provide complexity. The initial creaminess on the palate evolves into a crisp finish.
Notes on the Producer
Outlot: a parcel of land not intended for building, but rather one with boundless potential.
Named in tribute to Healdsburg’s Magnolia Peninsula, Outlot wines offer three distinct varietals priced within the fast-growing premium category – a zesty Sauvignon Blanc, luscious Chardonnay, and sumptuous Cabernet Sauvignon.
The ‘Magnolia Peninsula’, located just outside downtown Healdsburg, has a rich past brimming with stories of historic ranches and pastoral farmland. Famous for its rich soil, nurseries and orchards thrived here from the late 1800s, ultimately giving way to the abundant vineyards of Healdsburg today.. Threatened by development in the early 1970s, farmers fought to protect the land, which stands as a testament to stewardship to this day. Outlot wines aim to capture the spirit of the land and the sentiment of preservation.
