Notes on the Wine
Grapes are sourced from the Wairau and Awatere Valleys. Dry and windy vineyard sites allow for optimal fruit set and minimal disease. A large diurnal temperature difference in the fall provides the opportunity for grapes to reach peak maturity before harvest in late March and early April. Certified Sustainable New Zealand farming practices. 100% staineless steel fermentation as cold as possible (down as low as 8˚C) with selected yeasts. Lightly fined and filtered.
