Notes on the Wine
A layered and very dense Priorat with crushed-raspberry and slate character, as well as black tea. Full body. Ripe yet tight tannins and a long and flavorful finish.
Notes on the Producer
After studying Oenology in Bordeaux, and a stint at Chateau Petrus, Alvaro Palcios travelled his native Spain searching for the right spot to produce wine. He settled on Priorat and acquired his first vineyard -Finca Dofi - in 1990.
