Notes on the Producer
Domaine Gueguen is among the newest estates in Chablis. Most of their vineyards are located southwest of Chablis, around the village of Préhy and the winery is based in La Chapelle Vaupelteigne, a village located further north. In 2013, Fréderic Gueguen's combined the vineyards he inherited from his family with the ones from his wife, Céline Brocard, daughter of renown Chablis producer Jean-Marc Brocard. In addition to their family vineyards, they signed long-term contracts with retired wine growers who trust them to handle their land. The total size of the Gueguen estate is now 55 acres and they strive to produce classic mineral wines with sustainable farming practices.
