Notes on the Wine
Sourced from a high-elevation vineyard in the Fairplay AVA of El Dorado County, where the growing seasons are long, wines from this region develop full flavors and intense color. The volcanic soils produce a Cabernet Franc that is very true to the varietal. Characteristics of red plum, dried herbs, and smoky black pepper create a beautiful wine to pair with red meats and pizza.

Andis Wines is a 22,000 square foot state of the art winemaking facility designed under two tenets: 1) Design a winery that can make great wine, and 2) Make it pretty. Andy and Janis worked hand-in-hand with Sage Architecture for well over a year to come to a design that would achieve that goal.
