Notes on the Wine
"The wine is crafted this year from a blend of fifty-five percent Xarel-lo, thirty-five percent Macabeu and ten percent Parellada. The wine shows lovely precision and complexity on the nose, wafting from the glass in a mix of breadfruit, lemon, salty soil tones, fresh-baked bread, lemongrass and a hint of lavender in the upper register. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied and focused, with an excellent core of fruit, a lovely spine of acidity, fine soil undertow, frothy mousse and a long, complex and seamlessly balanced finish.
