Notes on the Wine
The wine is vibrant, with scents of nutmeg-spiced blackberry pie and sun-warmed strawberry, elevated by floral earl grey tea. These rich, fruity notes are followed by earthy briar and flint on the palate, with a lively, savory finish. Lingering flavors of cacao nib and rugged leather make for a sophisticated compliment to the voluptuous fruit in the nose. Immediately approachable, this Zinfandel also has depth and layers to entice thoughtful sipping.
Notes on the Producer
Eric Sussman is an icon in California. After establishing Radio-Coteau in 2002, Eric created County Line, which is more of a side project than a ‘second wine.’ Whatever you want to call it, County Line remains one of the best values in the New California movement.
