Notes on the Wine
A mouth filling but fresh Lebanese white blend, it is beautifully balanced with an impressive backbone of elegant minerality. This blend of Chardonnay, Viognier and Obeidi (Muscat) has spice and white peach aromas on the nose with a sublime perfume of jasmine. Try pairing with grilled fish with a dressing of olive oil, lemon juice and garlic, tabbouleh, hummus or pasta with roast Mediterranean vegetables.
Notes on the Producer
Run and directed by one of the few Lebanese winemakers - the young Faouzi E. Issa who is also co-owner of the Property. The winemaking philosophy at Domaine des Tourelles relies on a self-sustained process witnessing minimal intervention and allowing hence the production of naturally organic and vegan wines.
The harvest is done entirely by hand, with an initial selection made in the vineyards, followed by another at the winery. We monitor all the harvested grapes upon their reception to ensure the best selection possible before they transit into the crusher-destemmer machine.
