Region: France - Cotes du Rhone - Vacqueyras
Grapes: Syrah, Grenache
Alcohol: 14%
Notes on the Wine
Rich ruby color with purple tints. Very aromatic and complex. The aromas open up to fruits (blackberry, cherry) and spices. Unmistakably Syrah with a lot of substance. This wine is characterized by the generosity of the fruit and the elegance of the tannins.
Notes on the Producer
The Domaine was founded in 1905 by Gabriel Archimbaud and is now run by Maurice Vache and his two sons Jean-Michel and Frederic. The Archimbaud and Vache families are among the oldest ones in Vacqueyras. The oldest part of the property dates back to the 12th century and belonged to "Les Chevaliers de l'Ordre des Templiers" (the Templar Knights).
