"John and Belinda Hughes's Rieslingfreak project is well known Down Under for its hyper focus on the revered variety. No. 33 is made from a combo of two Clare Valley subregions. It excludes classic regional characters of lime pith, slate and florals with just a hint of paraffin. Bone dry, there's lovely play between texture and acidity, with enough bright, pithy citrusy fruit weight to balance racy acidity. Sip closer to room temperature paired with a variety of sea creatures."
