Notes on the Wine
The nose of this translucent red is very shy. The palate is exquisitely light with an aromatic touch of conifer on fresh tart red currants. The palate is very dry and light. Try chilling this as you would a rosé. While there is not a lot of body, there is lots of charm.
Notes on the Producer
Like a mighty vine, the Ruhlmann-Schutz family draws its passion for wine from the depths of the Alsacian vineyard. This precious expertise persists from generation to generation, and the notoriety of the wines expands.
The Ruhlmann-Schutz family sees its creative mind expressed in every field: combining tradition and modernity by associating old oak barrels to the state-of-the-art winemaking equipment, by respecting the biodiversity and the environment, and by creating wines that are unique and fully express the terroir.
