Notes on the Wine
Grande Rando is our macerated red wine. A blend of Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault and Clairette blanche. For this sunny vintage, we chose 50% wood aging in 3-year-old barrels for 6 months and 50% in stainless steel vats. Bottled in June 2020, we did not use any additives.
We obtain a rich wine, with jammy aromas of black fruits, spices and a light note of wood. This vintage brings even more generosity and freshness than the previous one. Its tannins are just beginning to blend, which will allow it to have beautiful years of aging ahead of it.
