Notes on the Wine
This is classic Brunello from a great vintage. It is thoroughly enjoyable now with a good decanting and the cellar potential is fantastic.
James Suckling: 93 Points
"Aromas of sour cherries, dried wild strawberries, rosemary and orange peel with subtle iron notes. Medium-bodied, showing finely etched tannins and lively acidity. Bright and crunchy, with fleshy fruit and a savory, mineral finish."
Wine Enthusiast: 92 Points
"The nose opens with the sweet spiciness of dried cranberries, cinnamon and cloves, then adds aromas of flowers and top soil. On the palate, flavors of raspberry jam and orange peel are balanced by abundant earth and herbs, grounded by chalky tannins."
