Silvery gold in the glass, Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut is a vibrant, stylish cuvée characterised by delicate floral aromas, rounded out by fresh fruit and hints of buttery brioche and vanilla. Though crisp and light, it combines freshness with a lingeringly rich, generous finish, preserving its distinctive balance and harmony to the very end.
Notes on the Producer
Maison Perrier-Jouët was founded in Epernay in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët, a couple united by a fondness of nature, entrepreneurial spirit, and love for Champagne. Their vision was to be a House of difference, defined by a pursuit of quality and a passion for Chardonnay, a grape that was not widely used at the time. They identified the Côte des Blancs as a superior area for growing Chardonnay, and over time acquired 65 hectares in what is now called ‘The Golden Triangle’. These decisions gave birth to the signature Floral & Intricate style of Perrier-Jouët. This style has been closely guarded for more than 200 years by only seven Cellar Masters, offering unparalleled expertise in crafting each of the Maison’s cuvées, most notably the iconic Belle Epoque, Belle Epoque Rosé, and Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs.
