A Great wine for drinking now, this hits all the Brodeaux buttons with enough fruit in the wine to balance it's rustic side. The Cabernet Franc comes through just enough on the nose and palate to add interst but not overwhelm the wine.
Notes on the Producer
In 2011, the Chéty family decided to convert Château Haut-Colombier into organic farming. The goal was to improve the quality of the wine while respecting the vineyard and the terroir. Olivier and Emmanuel, the two brothers who manage the property, didn’t make that decision based on the organic trend, it’s a long term project that requires energy, hard work and focus.
